MOKIZEN — Create Living Worlds
MOKIZEN is a free web app for designing interactive 3D living worlds — planted aquariums, moss terrariums, paludariums and miniature landscapes — in the browser, with no install. You place plants, moss, stones, driftwood, lamps and fish in a 3D editor, watch the planting grow over a 90-day timeline, and share or remix worlds by link.
What can you build?
- Planted aquariums: iwagumi, Dutch, jungle and nature-style aquascapes with fish schools.
- Terrariums and wabi-kusa: moss landscapes, jars and bottle gardens.
- Paludariums and ripariums: half-water tanks with waterfalls and emersed plants.
- Miniature scenes: zen gardens, pagodas, bonsai and dioramas.
How does it work?
- Start from a curated world, a text prompt (AI) or an empty tank.
- Add and arrange items; lights cast real beams and colour only the area under them.
- Check care needs in the species field guide and get a shopping list of what you used.
- Share a link, export an image or video, or view it in AR.
