About MOKIZEN

MOKIZEN is a free web app for designing interactive 3D living worlds — planted aquariums, terrariums, paludariums and miniature landscapes — directly in the browser with WebGL, no install required. It is built by Kaifuz Studio.

What can you do with MOKIZEN?

Is MOKIZEN free?

Yes. The editor, worlds, field guide and sharing are free. A Pro plan removes ads and the per-tank object limit and adds 4K exports.

Who is behind MOKIZEN?

MOKIZEN is designed and built by Kaifuz Studio, an independent software studio in Vietnam. The aquarium and terrarium advice on this site is compiled by the studio, not by a veterinarian or a professional aquascaper.

How are the species guides written?

Each species page is drafted from published references (hobby and plant-database pages such as Seriously Fish, FishBase, Flowgrow, Aquasabi and Kew's Plants of the World Online) with the help of AI tools, then checked against those sources. The sources are listed at the bottom of every page with the date they were last read.

What happens when sources disagree or have no number?

We never fill a gap with a guess. If a value (a temperature, a pH) is not in a source we could read, the page leaves it out. If two sources disagree, the page shows the range both support and says so in its notes. Translations into other languages are machine-assisted and checked less closely than the English text.

Found a mistake?

Write to support@mokizen.com with the page and what is wrong. We correct the page, add the source, and update its "last updated" date.
